Right, that's it. Time to stop all this mucking about. I'm up to 17k words with my WIP "When the Moon Fails" and I've come to a complete, utter halt. Stopped. So, to get me back into gear, for the first time I'm going to take part in NaNoWriMo.
I need chivying along (bullying more like) and I'm determined to say I managed 50k words by the end of November (no, I won't count the 17k I already have). That'll give me 65k words. Tell you what, if I don't manage it, someone give me a forfeit. Any suggestions?
Just think - this time next month...
Anyone like to join me? I'm KatieR there (don't ask me why - I registered with that moniker about ten years ago and never looked at the site again).
Go Susan go! Rah rah rah!
ReplyDeleteSorry, that's the best I can do for cheering.
Go for it Sue!
ReplyDeleteI'll bully you, if you bully me :D
ReplyDeleteYou've got a start. I haven't even got character voices yet.
But they will come!
Good luck! :)
ReplyDeleteI chuckled at your last couple of sentences. I think I'm out of my mind to attempt it, but I'm so gonna try. I'm xaymacagirl, who as of today has written not one word yet. :(
ReplyDeleteI've "buddied" you J.L. - now you're committed to it!
ReplyDeleteI've finally loaded my word count. How's your word count coming?
ReplyDeleteOooh - you're at 10k J.L. I'm at just over 7k - and no writing today :)
ReplyDeleteIsn't it fun? It's like one big mont long party with fellow word geeks. Good luck!
