Da-daaaa!
If you follow Siv Ottem's blog (here) it'll be no news if I tell you she knows more about the Norse Gods than you can shake a stick at. I ADORED Tales of the Norse Gods when I was younger so I was more than delighted (vocabulary-fail anyone?) when I heard she was writing one of her own and getting it ready for publication.
Oh do look! The cover's been released on the world today, designed by the brilliant Michael di Gesu (here). But I love it so much I'm going to show it here just so I can ogle it to my heart's content:
and the back cover :-D
My personal favorite God was Loki, but he's a bit naughty in this book :-( so it was an eye-opener. Bad Loki!
Congratulations Siv!!!
Thanks Susan! You were my Muse during this project and I could not have asked for a better Beta reader! Your review on the back cover is wonderful as well. This October when the big book release is pushed we are going to have some fun! I have a soft spot for the naghty Loki as well :)
ReplyDeleteMichael did an awesome job! And good to have you back, Susan.
ReplyDeleteIt's a pleasure Siv!
ReplyDeleteIt's good to be back Alex :-)
Very nice. And I have a feeling Loki would be my favorite too. :)
ReplyDeleteI adore the old Norse legends too, so this is right up my street, and, to paraphrase Monty Python, Loki is a Very Naughty Boy!
ReplyDeleteIt is nice, isn't it, Lu?
ReplyDeleteLOL, Cat.
This looks like fun, Sue.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new release, Siv.
